Total Order Plus 2012.A is now being used at Mindware and six other customers for beta testing. We have started a new features list of what has been incorporated into this new version of our software. One of the highlights is the importing of UPS WorldShip tracking information into Total Order Plus invoice history during the daily closing in WorldShip. It's not always easy to determine whether or not your computer has been infected with a virus, worm, Trojan or spyware, because authors of malicious software do their best to disguise their work. But there are some symptoms that could help you figure it out. Signs your computer may be infected:

Files, folders or icons are deleted or changed for no reason | |

Your computer slows down because of too many installed rogue software applications that turn out to be spyware | |
|
Unexpected pop up windows display on your screen, such as, 'fake' virus warnings telling you of security threats on your computer | |
|
Unexpected sounds might play randomly and be accompanied with a warning message of which you have no control over | |
|
Third party companies that could be in China or Russia try to encourage you to install rogue software that will slow down the performance on your computer | |
|
Random connections to unknown website that might cause an alert from your legitimate anti-virus software | |
|
Unexpected images might pop up or replace benign images, such as, photos on news websites |
The first thing to do is take steps to avoid getting infected in the first place. That includes making sure your applications, anti-virus software and operating system are all updated. You can also reduce potential vulnerabilities that cybercriminals could exploit by uninstalling applications that you don't use very much.
You can try rebooting your computer in 'safe' mode and then perform an anti-virus scan to eliminate any potential infections.
Sonicwall has issued an 'End of Support' Announcement on all TZ-150 and TZ-170 Sonicwall units. After June 30, 2011, there will not be any more products available for 2 year and 3 year security service contracts for Gateway Security Suite and Client Anti Virus.
As of June 30, 2013, there will not be any 1 year security service contracts available on the TZ-150 and the TZ-170 Sonicwall units for Gateway Security Suite and Client Anti Virus.

Things You May Not Know About TOP
Many of our customers may not be aware that Total Order Plus has a 'User Appendix' manual, 'Online Help' manual and a 'TOP Intro" manual online on our support website www.mindwarecorp.com and can be accessed by clicking on 'Documentation' on the left side of the screen. These manuals contain numerous screens and instructions to help you with Windows issues, UnForm, UPS, Anzio Lite, Unix commands, End of Day and End of Month processing, how to use the TOP Report Writer, TOP menu commands, 'How To' information, listing of reports that can be printed to PDF files, etc.
In our monthly newsletter, we are publishing some of the 'TOP2012.A Features'. This month we will feature the new A/R Credit Card Maintenance screen. The credit card number does show all of the digits in the maintenance program but displays in the Order and Invoice Data Entry total screen as a masked number ************1234.
You can now enter a password on individual sub-menu items and the credit card maintenance program should definitely have a password. To password your customer's credit card information, go to the A/R Definition Menu and select Password Maintenance. For menu code you will enter program name ARCM10 and the letter on the sub-menu will be W. Then enter your password. Click here to view screens ......

When I need to find a cash receipt payment in the history file, I can only sort by check number or by customer number. It would be helpful if a search could be done by amount, register number, etc.
Answer:
The Cash Receipts History on the A/R Options Menu has been upgraded to allow multiple search options in TOP2012.A: Check number, Register number, Amount of payment, Invoice number, General Ledger account number and Payment history.
