Eastern Regional Conference 1998

The 1998 Total Order Plus Eastern Conference was held June 5-7 at the Courtyard Marriott in New Orleans, Louisiana. The weekend began with a ‘Get Acquainted’ Happy Hour at the Courtyard beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday evening, sponsored by Stewart Superior Corporation and hosted by Mike Han. Later in the evening some of the group met up with several vampires roaming the French Quarter!

Saturday morning began with a continental breakfast, followed by presentations of Order Entry, Inventory and Accounts Receivable and new enhancements of TOP Version 96.N. General accounting procedures was presented by Joanne Simmons, followed by a break for lunch.

Saturday afternoon consisted of additional presentations on the new Total Order Plus software. Laser product presentations were given by Mike Han, Stewart Superior Corporation, emphasizing the importance of developing top quality products for the marking industry and their Epilog laser engraver.

Saturday evening the group walked to Ralph & Kacoo’s for dinner. Many of the the
group enjoyed the sites and sounds of Bourbon Street, while others enjoyed other places of interest.

Sunday morning consisted of presentations of Remote Order Entry, PageMaker and Windows 95 network features, along with round table discussions.

Sayre & Son, Rhonda Price & Donna McGuirt, Anderson Stamp & Engraving. The week-end was hosted by Archie & Liz Tucker, Joanne Simmons and Charlie & Gerry Steele, Mindware Corporation Of America.

Mindware Corporation hosts two regional conferences at various locations throughout
the United States for companies currently using TOP and for companies interested in
becoming a member of the TOP User’s Group. The conference features sessions about
TOP products and the latest technology for the Marking Device Industry. Round table
discussions allow users to share valuable information within a non-competitive
atmosphere. At the same time, it allows Mindware to gain valuable feedback from their customers in a continuing effort to improve their products.
